Big Sine was first realized at ausland, Berlin in 2014. Each subsequent version is as different as the room in which it occurs. As viewers traverse the space, sounds become intensely loud, only to disappear after another step, sometimes seeming to emanate from the walls or corners. The tones map the room aurally, creating an intensely personal synesthesia that reveal spatial relationships in a visceral manner.
